first_imgWritten By: Geoff Millar, Owner – Ultimate All-Inclusive Travel Inc.  AIC Resorts is the company that owns Hardrock all inclusive Resorts. The also own a set of high-end Resorts, 3 to be exact. They are Unico 20’ 87’ in the Riviera Maya, as well as Nobu and Eden Roc in Miami Beach. These are all more high-end mid-sized Resorts that are setting themselves apart from the run of the mill all-inclusive resorts. We are going to start in Miami with AICs two newest resorts located on Miami Beach. The first resort we are going to look at is the Eden Rock Resort. This resort is going for the city feel but on the ocean. It offers views of the city of Miami and views of the beach and Atlantic Ocean. It is a modern very comfortable hotel resort and is located in the center of Miami Beach. It has 415 rooms and suites. It does offer an optional all-inclusive plan but be careful as the all inclusive plan is not as robust as the Caribbean or Mexican All Inclusive resorts. It does include all meals and drinks but only at certain restaurants and bars. Another thing to keep in mind is that the all-inclusive plan is not offered all year long. It is offered May – October. This resort also charges daily resort fees but when booking with the all inclusive plan resort fees are included. Mandatory tipping and any service fees are not included with the all-inclusive plan. The 415 accommodations at the Eden Rock are upscale and include their lead-in category the Deluxe hotel view room. They then have the Deluxe city and bay view rooms and the Deluxe Ocean View. The categories then go to the Jr. Suites with Ocean View Jr. Suites and Ocean Front Jr. Suites. In the Suite categories they have 1 and 2 bedroom Ocean Front Suites. They even have 1 bedroom, 2 story Loft Suites. All Rooms and Suites come with Wifi and 24 hr. Room Service. Dining at the Eden Rock is made up of 2 restaurants and a Coffee Shop, Malibu Farm with an International menu and the famous Nobu Miami. The all inclusive plan allows you to dine at the Malibu Farm Restaurant and the Coffee Shop but not the Nobu Miami. Drinks are available at the Lobby Bar and the beach and pool bar. The Lobby bar is not included in the all-inclusive plan, but the beach and pool bar is included. There are a lot of activities at the resort. They is a number of water activities but at this resort they are not included in the all-inclusive plan. There are jet skis, parasailing, paddle boarding and kayaks, at an additional fee. You can also rent full cabanas on the beach or by the pool by the day. On land there are bike rentals, motor scooter rentals, a scavenger hunt for kids, and of course the Spa. With the all-inclusive plan you get a 30% discount at the spa. This resort is very up-scale and does have an all-inclusive plan that is more of a meal plan than a true all-inclusive plan. It would be great for clients, couple, groups, or families that want an up-scale beach resort in Miami that offers a limited all-inclusive plan. The resort is on Miami Beach, about 4 miles from the South Beach area. The next Resort we will look at is the Nobu Hotel. This is a very up-scale hotel on the grounds of the Eden Rock Resort, more of a hotel within a hotel. It is home to the famous Nobu restaurant and does offer an optional all-inclusive plan but, as with the Eden Rock resort, the all-inclusive plan is not as robust as all-inclusive plans in Mexico and the Caribbean, it is not as robust. This is a smaller more boutique property with only 206 rooms and Suites. At the Nobu Hotel the all-inclusive plan offers all meals and drinks and does include a Nobu tasting menu for two every second night of your stay. Dining included in the all-inclusive plan is, The Malibu Farm Restaurant, the Coffee Shop, and pool and beach bar. Resort fees are also included but not the mandatory tipping or any service charges. Other than the tasting menu at Nobu, the all-inclusive plan is the same as the one at the Eden Rock Resort. Accommodations at the Nobu Hotel consist of the entry level category, the Deluxe Room. They then go up from there to the Deluxe Room Bay View and the Deluxe Room Ocean View, we then have the Jr. Suite Level that comes with a Bay View. At the Suite Level you have Suites with Wrap-around decks, Suites with both Bay and Ocean Views. The hotel also has Penthouse Villas that come with a Villa Host or butlers. These come with one or two bedrooms and the view is Ocean Front. Dining consists of the main restaurant Nobu, along with the same restaurants that are shared with the Eden Rock Resort, the Malibu Farm, the Coffee Shop and the beach and pool bar. With the all-inclusive plan you get, as I mentioned, the Nobu Tasting menu every second night of your stay, you also have the Malibu farm Restaurant, the Coffee Shop, and the pool and beach bar. As with the Eden Rock Resort, there are a lot of activities at the Nobu Hotel. There are a number of water activities but at this hotel they are not included in the all-inclusive plan. This hotel is for the person or people who want to take it to the next level. It is a resort within a resort with the Nobu Hotel and the Eden Rock Resort. Remember it does have an all-inclusive option, but it is more of a upgrade meal plan. Again, the hotel is on Miami Beach about 4 miles from South Beach. The last resort we are going to look at this month is the Unico 20’ 87’.
