FC Porto boss didnt think Casillas heart attack was serious

first_imgFC Porto manager Sergio Conceicao revealed he didn’t initially believe Iker Casillas’ heart attack was very serious.Real Madrid legend Casillas was submitted to the hospital on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack during training in Portugal.Casillas underwent emergency surgery, where he had a heart catheterization. Fortunately, the 37-year-old is in a stable condition with his wife, Sara Carbonero, announcing this afternoon he could be discharged from the hospital on Monday.And now Conceicao has spoken on the shocking events on Wednesday, where he admitted Casillas’ symptoms initially seemed harmless.“When it happened I must say we didn’t think it was very serious, we thought it was just some indisposition like sometimes happens,” said Conceicao, according to Goal.“But after 15, 20 minutes of training we were not so focused because of that situation and in the end we had the news, the doctor called me and that was when I felt the team was shocked with what happened.Todo controlado por aquí, un susto grande pero con las fuerzas intactas.
