The accident blocked 47th Street at noon Friday.A motorcycle rider was able to walk away from an accident at 47th Street and Mohawk shortly before noon today.Roeland Park police were investigating the accident that occurred in the south lane of 47th. Traffic was blocked on 47th Street to complete the investigation.The motorcycle was eastbound on 47th Street and attempting a left turn into KCK when it was apparently struck from behind by a pickup truck. Witnesses said the rider was airborne over the bike after the impact. He was treated at the scene and was able to walk away from the accident with minor injuries.Officers from Roeland Park, Westwood and KCK were on the scene.
